Academic Concentration is 12 s.h. in one academic department outside of Education. -OR-
An area of concentration in science may be made up of a combination of Biology, Chemistry or Physics, or Physical Science courses, but he or she must total 12 semester hours. -OR-
An area of concentration may be obtained in Social Sciences consisting of a combination of Economics, Accounting and Business, History, Anthropology, Sociology/Social Work, and Psychology courses.
Special Endorsements: Early Childhood ~ Pre-kindergarten-Kindergarten, Elementary Reading, Middle School Specialist,, ESL/Bilingual, and Instructional Strategist II; BD&LD
Academic Endorsements: If the student selects one of the academic endorsements, they must complete the approved courses for a K-8 academic endorsement listed on the Education Department website under the Academic Programs button. |
